Department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering

Established 1964 to produce professional metallurgical and materials engineers.

About the department

This department was established in 1964 with the aim of producing professional and qualified engineers in the field of metallurgical engineering. With growing demand for emerging materials — superconductors, nano materials, ultra-light-weight and magnetic materials, and high-temperature super alloys — the department now offers a four-year bachelor degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering.
